4th Annual Dance Parade and DanceFest

Parade, 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM

DanceFest 3:00 PM – 7:00 PM


Over 160 dance groups celebrate diversity and artistic expression with a historical unfolding of 63 dance styles parading down Broadway.


Parade Route: The Dance Parade begins on 21st Street and Broadway, travels south through Union Square onto University Place and continues to 8th Street, where the parade turns east to Tompins Square Park.

Post-parade DanceFest: The event culimates with DanceFest, a free festival offering performances on two stages, dance lessons, workshops and social dancing throughout the basketball courts.

Stage A (located at “Old Band Shell”) performances include: One Love Drum & Dance Circle; Korean Traditional Music & Dance Institute of NY; Amy Marshall Dance Company; Dance Manhattan; Hip Hop Fusion; Neville Dance Theatre; Contemporary Ballet Theatre; Anabella Lenzu; Kamini Rangaradjou; Inner Spirit Dance; Eidolon Ballet; Strictly Traditional Tango; Martha Graham II; 60×60; Yosakoi Dance Project; Mariana Bekerman Dance Company; Marie-Christine Giordano Dance.

Stage B (10th Street and Avenue A) performances (P) and dance instruction (T): The Professionals Dance Crew (P); Country Dance NY (T); Groove With Me (P); Cape Ann Center for Dance (P); The Tunisian Project (T); Zouk Nation (T); IT Lotus Dance Company (P); NYC Bhangra (T); Dance Manhattan (T); Rhythm Locura (P); The Amazing Amy: Yoga Contortion Dancing (P); Broadway Bodies (T); Manhattan Tribal (T).


Dance Parade New York is committed to celebrating diversity by honoring dance’s historical roots as well as providing an opportunity to expose large audiences to smaller, underfunded groups.
